Accessibility statement

Our commitment

AngebotPilot should be easy to use for everyone – regardless of whether they use a mouse, keyboard, screen magnifier or screen reader. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) has applied since 28 June 2025. It requires providers of certain products and services – in particular e-commerce services offered to consumers – to make them accessible. AngebotPilot is aimed exclusively at businesses (B2B); whether and to what extent the BFSG applies to AngebotPilot is currently being assessed. [to be reviewed] Irrespective of this, our aim is to meet the requirements voluntarily.

Measures implemented

Website

  • a semantic structure with headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link,
  • full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus indicator,
  • colour contrast in line with WCAG AA for text and controls,
  • text alternatives for informative graphics; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers,
  • a responsive layout without horizontal scrolling and zoom up to 200% without loss of content,
  • support for the “Reduce motion” system setting,
  • automated testing of all pages with axe-core (most recently on 12 October 2026).

Web app

In the web app, we pay particular attention to:

  • labelled form fields with clear error messages,
  • keyboard operation and visible focus states,
  • status information (e.g. “Accepted”) that is conveyed not by colour alone but also as text.

Known limitations

  • Generated PDF quotations are currently not tagged as accessible PDFs (PDF/UA).
  • A full manual test of the web app with screen readers has not yet been carried out. [PLACEHOLDER: add results]
  • The mobile apps are in preparation and are not yet covered by this statement.
