Delete your account

How to delete your AngebotPilot account and data – in the web app, in the mobile app or by email.

Convenience translation. This English version is provided for information only. Only the German version is legally binding: Konto und Daten löschen (Deutsch).

Before you delete

Deletion cannot be undone. Before you start, export all customers, quotations and jobs that you still need or are required to keep under statutory retention obligations (e.g. § 257 HGB – German Commercial Code, § 147 AO – German Fiscal Code). You will find the CSV export in the respective lists in the app.

If you are the sole owner of a company that still has other active members, please transfer the owner role to another member first. Only then can your account be deleted.

In the web app

  1. Log in to the web app.
  2. Open Settings → My account (German interface: Einstellungen → Mein Konto).
  3. Select Delete account (German: Konto löschen) and confirm with your password.

In the mobile app (Android and iOS)

  1. Open the app and log in.
  2. Tap More → My account (German interface: Mehr → Mein Konto).
  3. Tap Delete account (German: Konto löschen) and confirm with your password.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

By email

You can also request deletion by email – for example, if you can no longer log in. To do so, write from the email address you registered with to certidevelopment@gmail.com with the subject line “AngebotPilot account deletion”. For your protection, we may ask you to confirm your identity before deleting your account.

What is deleted

  • your user account, including your name, email address and password hash,
  • all login sessions (refresh tokens) and any outstanding one-time links,
  • your company memberships, your notifications and any invitations sent to your email address,
  • if you are the only active member of your company: the entire company, including the company profile, logo, customers, quotations, PDF documents, templates, jobs, customer links, scheduled reminders and email sending logs.

What is retained – and why

  • Company data if there are other members: If your company has other active members, the company profile, customers, quotations and jobs remain available to them, as this data belongs to the company and not to the individual account.
  • Deletion log: A record that an account was deleted on a particular date – without name or email address. It serves as proof of the deletion.
  • Server logs of the hosting provider until they are routinely deleted: [PLACEHOLDER: retention period].
  • Backups: Deleted data may remain in backups until these are overwritten: [PLACEHOLDER: retention period]. It is not restored or used in any other way.
  • Legal obligations: Data that we ourselves are required to keep under statutory retention obligations (e.g. invoices once paid plans have been introduced) is stored with restricted access until the retention period expires. No such data arises during the pilot phase.
  • Emails already sent are in your customers’ inboxes and cannot be deleted by us.

Processing time

Deletion in the app takes effect immediately. We process requests by email without undue delay and within one month at the latest (Art. 12(3) GDPR), and confirm the deletion to you by email.
